Scale the Eiffel Tower

What’s a trip to Paris, if you’ve not visited the Eiffel Tower? Arguably one of the most iconic landmarks in the world and the proud owner of a spot on most traveller’s bucket lists. If you’re up for a challenge, forget the lift and scale the tower by foot!

Shop till you drop

Paris gives us black and white vintage film and classic fashion vibes. With iconic brands including Chanel, Givenchy and Chloé all getting their big breaks here, they now line either side of some of the busiest shopping streets. Looking for the alternatives? Neighbourhoods like North Marasis are perfect for discovering new brands, while L’Exception has a plethora of up and coming French designers

Take a dip in the pool

The River Seine might seem like the Thames, but this river has a difference! The Piscine Josephine Baker is a chic outdoor pool which floats on the River Seine. With a sauna, hummam and Jacuzzi, can you think of a better way to spend the day under the Parisian sun?

Cultural overload

If you want to skip the lines then avoid the TripAdvisor suggestions. Paris has some 74 art museums and galleries that feature the world renowned to the up and coming. Locals recommend Musée d’Orsay, Grand Palais and Musée du Quai Branly, but don’t forget to pop in to the Louvre to say hi to Mona Lisa!

Food glorious food!

You had me at food! Top traveller hack: skip the Michelin star restaurants and head over to the local markets. French law states that each arrondissement must have at least 2 open air food markets per week, could this city get any better?
